Behr

Behr is sold exclusively through The Home Depot in the United States, which makes it one of the most widely available paint brands by store count even though it is not distributed through its own dedicated stores the way some competitors are. Its Marquee Interior line is the brand’s premium interior paint-and-primer product and the one represented in this dataset.

Behr publishes both a 60° and an 85° gloss figure for several Marquee Interior finishes — the Marquee Matte and Eggshell data sheets in this dataset report both angles, while Satin and Semi-Gloss report only a 60° figure. GlossAtlas transcribes those figures directly and only ever compares Behr’s numbers to another brand’s numbers at a matching angle; see the Marquee Interior line page for the full published range at each sheen, with a source link and revision date for every figure. This page does not repeat that table — it exists to orient you to the brand and point you toward the data itself.

Behr also runs its own pro-facing product-comparison tool that maps its own SKUs to competitors’ product categories from published literature. GlossAtlas is a different kind of tool: every comparison here traces to a directly measured gloss/sheen figure from each manufacturer’s own technical data sheet, not a category-level literature mapping.

If you already use a Behr Marquee finish and want to know what finish in another brand is physically closest by published gloss, the comparison tool handles it directly. One frequently asked cross-brand question involving Behr is also worked through in full on its own page:

For background on how these comparisons are built — why GlossAtlas never converts a 60° figure to an 85° figure, and what “closest published match” does and doesn’t mean — see the methodology page.
