What GlossAtlas is
GlossAtlas is an independent, static comparison tool for paint finish gloss measurements, published by manufacturers themselves. It has no user accounts and does not sell any product or service directly. Content and liability
Every figure shown on GlossAtlas is sourced from a named manufacturer’s own published technical/product data sheet, with a visible citation and revision date next to it (see the site’s methodology page). GlossAtlas does not independently re-measure any product; it republishes and compares figures manufacturers have already made public. Manufacturers may revise their published figures at any time, on their own schedule — see the Privacy Policy and the site’s methodology page for how GlossAtlas handles that.
GlossAtlas never states that two finishes are an “exact match,” “identical,” or “guaranteed equivalent,” and never implies that a manufacturer approved or endorsed any comparison shown. See Brand Independence for the trademark and independence statement in full.
